Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Manager in Erie, PA.As an Accounting Manager, you will:Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to cash, accounts receivable, debtBe responsible for cash/treasury management including daily cash reporting, bank reconciliations, weekly reporting of cash flowsManage accounts receivable and accounts payable departmentsProvide accurate reports and analysis on financial data and metrics such as cash forecasting, past due customers, accounts receivable and accounts payable aging and reports of other debits and credits associated to either departmentMaintain intercompany balances and reconcile intercompany activityAssist with month end close and complete general ledger account reconciliationsWork with external auditors during US GAAP auditSupervise a current staff of 2 senior accountants, 2 accounts receivable employees and 3 accounts payable employeesTrain, develop, and appraise employee performance while developing staff to ensure growth within existing roles and development for future rolesThis is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.The ideal candidate will have the following experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or BusinessMasters degree and/or CPA license preferred5+ years of relative accounting experience within manufacturing5+ years of management/supervisor experienceThorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable, billing, payablesProficient with JD Edwards or another ERP platformExperience with - FCCS, AP Express, ARCS, or Power BI is preferred, not mandatoryPay rate: $90,000 - $110,000/year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
