This is a permanent hybrid position, offering the flexibility of remote work coupled with the vibrancy of in-office collaboration. As an Accounting Manager, you will be a key player responsible for overseeing our financial operations to drive sustainable growth. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Drive the fixed asset accounting process, including maintaining the fixed asset sub-ledger. Prepare and submit monthly borrowing base reports to lenders. Oversee the balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure all balances are properly supported and explained. Manage the tax preparation process, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare and present financial analysis and reports for management, board meetings, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process. Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment. Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and procedures. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or MBA is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the Accounting Finance industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles. Proven experience with financial reporting, financial analysis, and budgeting. Proficiency in using financial software programs like NetSuite. Excellent knowledge of tax preparation, audits, and compliance. Ability to manage the entire financial reporting process, including monthly close, balance sheet control, and quarterly and annual reporting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to develop and lead an effective team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
