Job Description Job Description Position Summary As an integral part of the Revenue Accounting team, position will be asked to accurately record, reconcile and analyze revenue from oil, gas and liquid sales, handle complex tasks like volume/price analysis, new well set up, monthly accruals and general ledger reconciliations to ensure compliance and financial accuracy for operated and non-operated properties as well as assist with royalty owner inquiries. Target Responsibilities Prepare monthly Gas, NGL and Condensate Accruals by working closely with the Marketing Department In accordance with the monthly production schedule, ensure accurate setup of new wells that are turned in line and maintenance of established wells in accordance with QRA revenue guidelines to process royalty disbursement Record and post revenues and volumes for oil, gas, condensate and NGLs from production data Invoice counterparties for gas sales and process payment for gas purchases Reconcile revenue-related general ledger accounts and balance sheet items monthly File reports with required state regulators (VGOB, Federal and State Backup Withholding, and 1099s) Process and post adjustments for volume, price, cost and ownership changes for prior periods Generate various financial and production reports for management and external parties Work with Land, Production, Marketing and Operations teams to resolve issues ? Minimum Requirements A bachelor’s degree is required 1-3 years’ experience; accounting related experience with E&P Company (Preferred). Strong team and relationship building skills are required. Must be able to engage multidiscipline teams and manage cross-functional, ad hoc projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills This position is office based Must possess strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP System, QRA etc. Must be detail oriented
