Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers
an opportunity to provide specialized educational support to
students with visual impairments across multiple school districts
in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The role is critical in
delivering tailored instruction and resources to K-12 students,
ensuring access to the curriculum and promoting independence. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver direct instruction and support to
visually impaired students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Collaborate with educational teams across multiple districts to
develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet
individual needs. Travel between various school sites to provide
onsite services; some flexibility for virtual support may be
available depending on district allowances. Maintain accurate
documentation and communication with families, educators, and
administrators. Qualifications: Hold an active Teacher of the
Visually Impaired (TVI) Educator Certification. Experience working
with K-12 students with visual impairments. Ability to manage a
caseload spanning multiple districts, demonstrating strong
organizational and communication skills. Comfortable with regular
travel between school sites within Washington County. Commitment to
delivering high-quality instructional services either onsite or
virtually as needed. Location: Washington County, Pennsylvania,
with services provided in multiple school districts. Onsite
presence is preferred. Benefits: Full-time contract position with a
