Nesco Resource has a long-standing client seeking to hire a manual machinist experienced with Bridgeport machines and surface grinders. Job title: Manual Machinist Location: Warrensville Heights Shift: 1 st (6 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, OT on Friday as needed) Salary: $19 to $22 an hour or higher based on experience Contract to hire position RESPONSIBILITIES: Set up & Operate standard tool room equipment including manual Bridgeport mills, Manual Engine Lathes, Drill Presses, Band Saws and Surface Grinders. Uses precision measuring devices to inspect parts. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 years' experience working with manual mills and/or lathes. Additional job training will be provided. Working collaboratively as part of a team; must be able to communicate effectively. Able to read blueprints and precision measuring devices. HS Diploma or GED required. Will be subject to pre-screening requirements.
