Job Description:

Our client, a groundbreaking manufacturer of corrugated products, has an immediate need for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic, to join their winning team in Orrville. Our candidate of choice will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. You will bring prior hands-on experience in Electrical, 480v, PLC, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify any issues or malfunctions Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and systems Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any urgent issues Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems Fabricate parts or components as needed using various tools and equipment Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors when necessary Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment KEY REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Must be self-starting Experience in Programmable logic controllers, Hydraulics, and/or Pneumatics Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Knowledge of logic controllers and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems Understanding of electrical; AC and DC.
