just be another number? Join our Engineering team and play a key
role in executing our long-term strategic plan alongside our VP of
Engineering, VP of operations, operations team and Sales engineer.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will: Lead or contribute to
projects focused on new product development, product improvement,
machinery and process development, cost reduction, and automation.
Manage projects ranging from defining technical data for new and
existing products and implementing CAPEX investments or
enhancements to our manufacturing lines. Design, develop, and
validate manufacturing processes for plastic components and
assemblies. Lead prototype builds, testing, and product validation
activities. Support the VP of Engineering and Sales team in
departmental management tasks, including project management, budget
tracking, SR&ED documentation, patents, purchase orders, and
other technical or administrative responsibilities. Collaborate
with colleagues across the company to provide engineering expertise
where needed. As a member of a small and agile team, you'll wear
many hats and gain exposure to a wide variety of projects—it will
never be boring with us! ABOUT YOU You are passionate about
tackling engineering challenges and want your work to make a
positive impact in the manufacturing industry. You're innovative,
curious, and creative, with the ability to work both independently
and in collaboration. You also have the following assets: A
bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, or Automation
Engineering Continuous Improvement and operation efficiency
experience is an asset Knowledge of lamination, composite
materials, and plastics is an asset CAPEX Project management
experience is an asset Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and
communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
with multiple priorities. 2–5 years of progressive engineering
experience. Availability to travel occasionally (3–4 times per
year) within the U.S. to visit suppliers or partners.
