Job Description Job Description Mechanical Contractor in the Pittsburgh area seeking qualified HVAC Installers to join our team and provide exceptional installation expertise for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidates will have a blend of technical knowledge, practical experience, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications Plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation of new and existing HVAC Equipment. Adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. Effective communication and customer service skills. Ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish. Must be organized and have good Communication Skills. Compensation: $28 - $32 hourly Responsibilities: Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment Record HVAC equipment installs into database Use electrical testing equipment to check electrical circuits and components Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures Maintains environmental conditions by installing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment; maintaining records Organizes work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints; gathering required materials Establishes environmental systems by mounting, installing, or connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge values, motors, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; completes power connections Tests and repairs environmental systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs Documents actions by completing equipment records Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed Qualifications: Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring and high voltage connections Skills: HVAC Systems, Equipment Maintenance Basic Safety, Documentation Skills Conceptual Skills Power Tools Attention to Detail Dependability Lifting Job Knowledge Productivity About Company Our company has been serving Pittsburgh for the past 50 years.
