Job Description Job Description Access Control & CCTV Installation Technician Top Skills Access Control Systems (Installation, Service & Maintenance) CCTV / Camera Systems (Installation, Service & Maintenance) Low-Voltage Cabling & Pathway Systems Basic Programming & System Configuration Secondary Skills (Nice to Have) Network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) Electrified door hardware Aerial lift or man-lift experience Prior experience in commercial security environments Job Description The Access Control & CCTV Installation Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining physical security systems, including access control devices, cameras, and supporting infrastructure. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Essential Functions Install, service, and maintain access control devices and electrified door hardware Install, service, and maintain CCTV and camera systems Install and maintain cable pathways to support security and network systems Maintain company-owned tools and equipment Work collaboratively with other service team members Observe all safety rules and industry best practices Perform additional duties as required Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the security industry Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and use measuring tools, levels, and standard installation equipment Strong interpersonal skills with clear written and verbal communication Willingness to learn and understand the industry served by the organization Ability to work flexible schedules when needed (nights, weekends, overnight work) Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and aerial man-lifts Professional appearance and demeanor at all times Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sewickley, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
