As a core team member, you will be interacting with various electric utility disciplines, playing a valuable part in leading and designing high voltage utility substation projects. The Challenge: Lead conceptual and detailed HV and MV Substation design for medium to large scale utilities/substations (including basic layout, electrical arrangement, one line, three line drawings, plan-section, grounding, AC and DC system drawings) Take complete ownership of each project, including management of technical design, staffing, schedule, and budget. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with the internal teams and clients to meet project objectives. Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers, designers, and drafters. Develop and review project proposals, including scopes of work and cost estimates. Perform Quality Control reviews on medium to large substation projects Continually improve and maximize team quality and efficiency. What Sets You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related degree Eight (8) plus years of direct experience in substation design You Might Also have: Registered Professional Engineer (P.E) license Master’s degree in related field Experience leading a project team WHAT WE DO Leidos is a trusted and technology-focused solutions provider. Pay Range: Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
