may be a good fit for you. SUMMARY: Responsible to the Laboratory
for performing and reporting simple and moderately complex
laboratory tests. Responsible to the customer for courteous,
accurate, timely service. REQUIREMENTS: + Bachelor's degree in
Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology required. + Certification
as a medical technologist by ASCP or NCA must be obtain within one
year from date of hire. RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES +
Performs a variety of simple and moderately complex laboratory
tests on body fluids using practical knowledge of instrumentation.
+ Determines test results, reviews within the scope of his/her
training for clinical applicability. + Operates, maintains,
calibrates, and troubleshoots all types of laboratory
instrumentation. + Performs, interprets, and documents Quality
Assurance systems in compliance with laboratory policy and
procedure. + Adheres to Quality Control protocols. + Communicates
with physicians in a professional manner. + Performs other duties
as assigned. The above statements reflect the general duties
