Job Description:

Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent emergency department
experience required. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or
compact state license in hand. Certifications: Must have ACLS, BLS,
PALS, and TNCC certifications active and in hand. Must-Have: Epic
experience required. One recent reference from a manager, assistant
nurse manager, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for
is required to qualify for submission. An ECG rhythm recognition
test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an
acceptable score on both assessments required. Traveler must work
at least every other holiday. Description: All requirements listed
in the job description are non-negotiable and no exceptions will be
made. A minimum of 18 months of permanent emergency department
experience is required prior to travel. One reference from a
supervisor or director in the specialty applying for is required to
qualify for submission. The facility does not accept any license
hits. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility
requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be
nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel plus nicotine drug screen
required within 12 months of start. Permanent and per diem
candidates cannot return to this facility for one year from their
previous end date. Accommodation of medical or religious exemptions
for facial hair will not be considered. Candidates will need to
complete badge pickup and onsite fingerprints prior to their start
date. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, may vary by
specialty, and are billable up to a maximum of 4 hours annually.
Additional time required for pre-start modules is non-billable.
