ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts per week • Weekend nights schedule with every other weekend requirement • Holiday work requirement applies • 32-bed unit (all private rooms) with 22 stepdown beds and 12 floor beds • Stepdown ratio: 1 RN to 3 patients; Floor ratio: 1 RN to 6 patients • Care for cardiac surgery post-op patients including CABG, valve replacements, heart transplants, and TAVRs • Handle vascular surgery post-op procedures such as AAA repair, CEA, and femoral bypass • Manage cardiology patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure, and cardiac cath procedures • Titrate drips including heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, TPA, Lasix, and dobutamine • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS • Cardiac/vascular experience required • Use EPIC charting system • 2-3 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided • Solid royal blue and white scrub colors required • May float to sister units within Heart and Vascular Institute • Overtime opportunities available • 2 shifts per 13-week contract cancellation policy Facility: This healthcare facility features a specialized Heart & Vascular Institute providing comprehensive cardiac and vascular care services.
