Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Morgantown, West
Virginia, 26506! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN
(Registered Nurse) Specialty: Neuro MedSurg Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience:
Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS NIHSS
Must-Have: Recent Epic experience Strong Neuro experience
Proficiency with G-tubes NIHSS certification in hand at time of
submission Description: Unit has 20 beds, with ratios of 1:5-6 for
floor patients. Common diagnoses include Neurosciences, Deep Brain
Stimulators, Stroke, Seizures, Surgical/Post-Operative Spines, and
Neurological Disorders. Experience with titration is not required
as it is completed by physician's orders in a step-down setting. RT
services are available 24/7 and RN's are not required to have vent
experience. Monitor techs are present, and RN's do not have to read
strips but must document verification of monitor tech's strip
reading in the charting system. Weekend shifts will include either
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Holiday rotation is expected. Floating may occur to other units as
needed. Dress code includes any combination of white and royal
blue. Charting system utilized is Epic. This position does not
require a BSN. Candidates must be willing to wait for license
