Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Location: Akron, OH Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 – 23:00) Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills & Requirements: - Provide perioperative support as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in the Operating Room - Prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile fields, and assist surgeons during surgical procedures - Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and surgical safety standards - Anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care throughout procedures Experience & Certification Requirements: - Minimum 18 months of recent OR CST experience required - Must have 18 months of permanent OR CST experience prior to travel - AHA BLS required (in hand at time of submission) - NBSTSA certification required (in hand at time of submission) About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
