Job Description:
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med
Surg for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN -
Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:
12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med
Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts or day/night rotation
with weekends as scheduled • Typically scheduled for half of the
total weekends • Patient ratio of 1:6/7 (up to 1:7 maximum) •
Required to work within 50-mile radius of facility • Must provide
copy of unexpired driver's license with submission • Required
certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS • Care for patients with CHF,
COPD, cellulitis, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, pneumonia,
urosepsis, and AKI • Titrate heparin drips based on aPTT results •
Work with telemetry monitored remotely by monitor techs • May float
as needed based on census (external travelers float first) • Work
alongside PCTs and one charge RN with assignment • Use EPIC
charting system • Navy blue scrubs required • No standby or call
requirements • Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week
contract • BSN not required Facility: This acute care hospital
features a 30-bed medical-surgical unit providing comprehensive
inpatient services. The facility utilizes modern technology
including EPIC charting systems and remote telemetry monitoring.
