Job Description Job Description Resident Care Aide - RCA For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been committed to offering superior health care services to the senior members of our community. We are seeking to hire a Resident Care Aide – RCA . $17.30 to $20.30 based on skills and experience. Full-Time 2:30pm to 11pm. Part-Time 10:30pm to 7am; 2 days per week/mostly weekends. Resident Care Aide – RCA Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year’s experience in personal care or long-term care facility. Medication training certification. First aid and CPR Certified (§2600.63b) (if not will be trained in facility). Criminal background check current within the past year. Resident Care Aide – RCA Job Summary: Provide care and services while maintaining composure during stressful circumstances. Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL): dressing and undressing, bathing, personal hygiene (shaving, dental hygiene, nail care, hair care, foot care), mobility and care of assistive devices (such as glasses, contacts, hearing aids). Monitoring changes in resident’s physical condition and cognitive/emotional status during room checks and resident rounds, reporting incidents, errors, or accidents. Escort to the dining room, taking resident orders, serving meals, busing tables. Housekeeping responsibilities such as dusting, vacuuming, moping, spot cleaning flooring, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, cleaning the washer and dryers, other maintenance tasks.
