Job Description Psychiatrist – Inpatient Facility Expansion
Location: Western Pennsylvania Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Psychiatry Position Highlights:•Seeking a psychiatrist to join a
growing behavioral health team•Role focused on child/adolescent
psychiatry, with inpatient rounding and consults•Anticipated
patient load: 18–20 patients/day•Involved in teaching and training
residents, students, and interns•Opportunity to help shape a new
psychiatric residency program (to launch after hospital
build-out)•Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) program to be addedNew
Facility Overview:•State-of-the-art behavioral health center in
development•Includes:o8-bed adolescent unito24-bed adult
unito12-bed geropsychiatry unit•Existing staff includes a
Board-Certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist and Child/Adolescent
NPQualifications:•Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry•5
years of experience preferred; new graduates also
considered•Experience with child/adolescent patient population
