Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in post-acute and long-term care
services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Development
Coordinator/IP, RN to join our team. This role is pivotal in
sustaining the highest standards in patient care by educating and
training our nursing staff. The selected candidate will integrate
infection prevention protocols with staff educational initiatives
to bolster our commitment to patient safety and care excellence.
Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing
staff. Update and maintain infection prevention policies according
to current standards and regulations. Conduct regular training
sessions on new procedures, technologies, and regulations. Monitor
compliance with infection control practices and provide timely
feedback. Coordinate with management and staff to assess ongoing
educational needs. Maintain accurate records of training and
compliance activities. Assist in the onboarding process of new
nursing staff. Advanced knowledge of infection control practices
Strong teaching and mentoring skills Ability to develop and present
educational materials clearly Excellent organizational and
leadership abilities Proficiency in data management and analysis

401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in
