Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Neurosurgery Location: Youngstown, OH Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position A Level I Trauma hospital in Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for urgent and emergent call coverage. This is a high-acuity setting with ongoing need. Coverage Need: March 3–10 (Required – no exceptions) 24-hour call 1 week per month, ongoing potential Schedule: 8–12 hour in-house call coverage Avg. 1–2 emergent surgical cases per day Practice Setting: Hospital-based Level I Trauma Center Adult & Geriatric population (emergent ED cases) EMR: Epic 1 employed 1 non-employed Neurosurgeon Neuro IR in-house Required Procedures: Neurosurgery (Adult & Trauma): Brain bleed stoppage Clot removal Tumor removal Trauma repair Shunt insertion/revision Spine Surgery: Spine stabilization & reconstruction Vertebroplasty / Kyphoplasty Spinal fusion Laminectomy Diskectomy Rates: On-call daily rate Call-back rate ?? Travel: Lodging approx. $150/night Standard/economy accommodations only Upgrades must be pre-approved ? Requirements: Board Certified Neurosurgery Active Ohio License (no exceptions) Must be available for March 3–10 Self-Query NPDB (dated within 30 days at presentation) BLS & ACLS
