Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,876 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: WV or Compact License (Pending License Acceptable) Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: Experienced in direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR, pressure monitoring, Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, CRRT Description: The CVICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse. Candidates must have experience with activated clotting time. The position involves 3-night shifts per week. Patient ratios will be 1:2 based on acuity. Overflow patients may necessitate step-down level care. Candidates must be proficient in managing direct open-heart admissions from the OR. Skills in pressure monitoring and Impella monitoring are required. Experience with CRRT is also necessary. Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH are mandatory. Potential extensions of the contract are available. Weekend schedules are acceptable if requested. Candidates will need to provide verification of their RN licenses. References from two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required. Inclusion of required certifications is essential. Travel experience is not mandated. The unit primarily cares for cardiothoracic surgery patients. Types of procedures include CABGs, open valve replacements, and carotid endarterectomies. Other diagnoses include complicated cardiac cath lab patients, STEMIs, and patients in cardiogenic shock. The daily census in the unit averages four patients. The unit has a total of 10 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. All candidates must provide documentation of at least two years of RN experience. Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. Insufficient documentation will result in a delay in processing.
