Job Description Job Description Warehouse Worker - 3rd Shift - Pay is $19.50/hr Shift Description: 3rd shift - 9:00pm to 7:00am Pay: $19.50/hr Job Description As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for packaging bundles by securely placing metal strapping around materials. You will ensure that paper corner protectors are properly placed to safeguard customer materials and use packaging equipment to tighten metal strapping around bundles. Your role includes verifying the correct size of parts produced and handling material using equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders with care and precision. Responsibilities Package bundles by placing metal strapping around materials. Properly place paper corner protectors to protect customers' materials. Use packaging equipment to tighten metal strapping around bundles. Check parts to ensure the correct size was produced. Operate material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and side loaders. Read work order instructions, safety, and policy manuals. Utilize tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, or micrometers effectively. Essential Skills Experience with general labor and material handling. Ability to read measurements accurately. Proficiency in operating forklifts and packaging equipment. Experience operating an overhead crane. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with hand and power tools. Safety-oriented mindset. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
