Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in environmental, energy,
and industrial services, is looking for a Class A CDL Driver /
Equipment Operator with a TWIC card, who is open to travel. This
position requires handling hazardous materials and operating heavy
equipment to assist with emergency spill responses and industrial
waste transport. Ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient
operations while on the road and at job sites across various
locations is paramount in this role, aligning with our commitment
to sustainability and environmental protection. Operate and
maintain Class A vehicles and heavy equipment according to safety
standards. Transport hazardous wastes across various locations,
ensuring proper documentation and compliance with federal and state
regulations. Participate in emergency response teams as needed to
manage spills and environmental hazards. Perform routine
inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues or
unsafe conditions immediately. Collaborate with logistics and
safety teams to optimize routes and improve operational protocols.
Participate in training and safety meetings to ensure updated
knowledge of industry regulations and practices. Proficient in
operating Class A vehicles and heavy equipment. Strong
understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance in hazardous
material handling. Ability to follow and implement emergency
response protocols and procedures. Effective communication and
teamwork skills. Good physical condition and endurance to perform
tasks in various environmental conditions. Medical Insurance Dental

Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazardous materials
endorsement. Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
card. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response
(HAZWOPER) certification (preferable).
