Join the team at Performance Foodservice as a CDL A Delivery Driver and play a key role in delivering high-quality service and satisfaction to our diverse clientele ranging from small family diners to nationwide chains. As an integral part of our transportation and logistics team, you will ensure that our extensive array of food and food-related products is delivered safely and efficiently to our customers across the United States. Operate a commercial vehicle to transport and deliver goods in accordance with the prescribed routes. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all shipments are correctly and securely packed. Keep detailed records of vehicle maintenance and delivery documents. Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation laws. Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate deliveries and handle unexpected situations. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining the professional image of Performance Foodservice. Proficiency in driving commercial vehicles. Strong geographic knowledge and ability to navigate diverse routes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required. Clean driving record. DOT medical card.
