Job Description:

As the CNC Machinist you will worke with heavy CNC machinery from set up to operation to produce parts and tools. You will operate CNC Horizontal and Vertical Mills and Machining Centers utilizing medium to heavy steel plate in a fabrication/job shop envrionment. Primary Responsibilities* Ability to read--engineering drawings, blueprints, and other work instructions* Program review, including debugging and problem-solving, using FANUC or Mitsubishi controls.* Load feed mechanism by using an overhead crane to lift materials into position* Perform typical machine shop operations: Mill, turn, drill, tap, de-bur, saw, and sand fabrications* Verify settings by measures, marks, and scribe dimensions and reference points.* Clean and perform inspections of the first-run part, machines, and tooling* Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required* Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed and depth, and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit machine control according to guidelines* Troubleshoot malfunctions or resolve issues as required* Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment* Perform routine maintenance on machines as required* Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specificationsSkills/Qualifications:* 2+ years of previous experience as a CNC Mill Machinist* Familiarity using micrometers and calipers and ability to read and understand blueprints* Experience editing programs using FANUC and/or Mitsubishi controls* Quality and detail oriented* Excellent mathematical skills* High School Diploma/GED* Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.Pay and Shift info* Starting pay is $16-$23/hour, based on experience* Hours are Monday - Friday, 6am - 4:30pm* Temp to Hire opportunityPlease call Angela Garbiso, Skilled Trades Recruiter with any questions at (440) 974-3391, or email at agarbiso@nescoresrouce.com.Nesco Resource is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
