Connection Systems business unit.
Summary (About this Position):
The Aptiv North America Connection Systems (NA CS) team is
seeking a highly motivated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Engineering in our Champion Technical Center location to define and
coordinate validation test programs for connection systems and
support field investigations and product warranty returns.

- Manage EMC Lab Testing Workload:
Plan/coordinate all major test programs
Build and implement test plans
Manage test data and provide test consultation
Participate in customer meetings
Adhere to H&S practices and support activities to promote a
safe working environment
- Develop EMC Test Systems and Methods:
Develop new test technology and testing methods as required
Define test fixture requirements (EMC and mechanical)
Program/debug computer controlled test equipment/systems
Implement testing process improvements
- Generate reports:
Develop program DVP&Rs for Connection Systems programs as it
pertains to EMC
Analyze/interpret test results
Compile and submit test reports and customer DVP&R's
- Coordinate warranty and field returns:
Track incoming EMC CS warranty/field returns
Perform failure mode analyses of returned samples
Summarize findings and participate in customer meetings
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
Must Haves (i.e. Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical
Fundamental knowledge of EMC Technology.
1+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience (testing, simulation,

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of automotive and EMC/electrical engineering
Hands-on experience using network analyzers, TDR and general
electrical test equipment.
Strong project management skills.
Knowledge of automotive product test specifications (CISPR25,
ISO 61000-4, ECE REG 10, ISO 11452, ISO 7637).
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word,
Project, Excel, Outlook, Skype, Teams, Visio, etc.).
Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
Resourcefully innovative and adapts in a rapidly changing
Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong
ability to work with a team.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish

technologies that serve as the nervous system of the vehicle,
including the complete design, manufacture and assembly of the
vehicle's connection systems.
This business unit's products include a vast array of connection
systems technologies for the vehicle, including: Housings,
Terminals, MePa/Pin-headers, High Voltage Chargers and
Interconnects, SRS, High Speed Data solutions, On-Glass
connections, Electrical Centers, Media Modules and Wireless
