Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department. Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Handle discipline in accordance with company policy. Establish and report on Body and Paint quality metrics Assist with the Development of inspection programs using GE Spot checker for NDT weld checking Develop inspection program for torque in Body shop using Datamyte technology Develop measurement processes for Paint appearance and have an understanding of principles of corrosion and corrosion risk factors. Assist with the identification of fixtures, hardware, and software needs for UTC, Weld check, and Weld Destruct inspections. Ensure calibration of GE Spot-checker and Datamyte equipment Develop routes and work instructions for weld/ torque checks and 100% metal Finish checks at the end of line in Bodyshop. Develop work instructions for 100% inspection at the End of Line in Paint. Report findings to the Quality Manager Provide expertise to Body and Paint for the finish and paint of the body throughout the assembly process Assist with problem solving activities for welding, body fit, and Metal/ Paint Finish for both internal issues and customer complaints Train and develop Body and Paint Quality team Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Seeking candidates that have experience with NDT and Destruct Weld Check and Torque Checks in vehicle manufacturing industry Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required. Three to five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
