The Lordstown Motors Internship Program is optimized for student candidates. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or trade school. If you are not pursuing a degree, please see our full-time positions at lordstownmotors.com This internship is expected to start around January 10, 2022 and conclude on April 8, 2022. We provide a flexible schedule for the academic workload of interns. Interns are required to work at least 20 hours a week but can work up to 40 hours if able. The Purchasing Intern will perform administrative and clerical duties for the purchasing department. * Provides administrative and clerical support to the department. * Handles reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents. * Research vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services. * Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department. * Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. * Ability to learn purchasing procedures and policies. We look for leaders with strong academic results who are in their 3rd of 4th year of college or graduate program that are working towards obtaining a BS or MS, in Business Administration
