Ultium Cells Overview:Ultium Cells, LLC. is a joint venture Lithium-ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solution, Ltd., and General Motors. This high-technology plant is a new construction that will have the latest in battery cell manufacturing technology. This $2.3 billion investment will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors' North American electric vehicle applications.Ultium Cells' partners include LG Energy Solution, Ltd.; the world's largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells, and General Motors; a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.Job Description:This position will provide administrative support to the team by organizing and maintaining inspection documents,creating and updating records, initiating electronic approvals, and other clerical duties.Job Responsibilities:* Acceptance testing of incoming materials, process, finished product.* Input inspection logs to Excel and relevant IT system.* Maintain and repair the inspection equipment.* Submit Electronic Approvals for consumables, supplies, goods, replacement parts, etc.* Create spreadsheets, presentations, documents and internal reports.* Tracking of operator hiring, training, certification, allocation, flexibility, promotion, etc.* Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as photocopying, collecting, filing, etc.* Coordinate 5S activities with other teams.* Work with other department Production Coordinators on plant wide projects.* Overtime and Weekends if necessary.Qualifications and Competencies:* High School diploma or GED required (a 2 or 3 year technical degree or certificate is preferred, not required)* 1 to 5+ years related experience, preferred* Established computer skills* Math skills including adding and subtracting decimals* Ability to read and interpret graphs and measurements* Willing to participate in training, especially technical and/or problem solving related* Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Excel* Collaboration with team and other departments* Passion, Sustainability, Self-Motivation, Professional, Positive Attitude* Highly Motivated Self-StarterTotal Rewards Information:We offer market-competitive compensation including base pay and incentive compensation opportunities based on the achievement of Company goals.
