Job Description:
As an Associate ED Medical Director at UHCA, you will be
responsible for collaborating with the ED Medical Director,
hospital, and nursing leadership while offering support to your
Physician staff. Not only will you serve as a leader within the
emergency department, you will also serve as a leader within the
organization. With UHCA, you will be part of a team unique in
today's industry. UHCA Physicians enjoy the security and resources

typically found in local EM groups. Additional Details Oversee the
operations of the ED in collaboration with the ED Medical Director,
nursing leadership and hospital administration Participate in
Quality Assurance for the department Represent the ED in the
community and within the hospital medical staff About UH Portage
Medical Center Trauma Designation: Level III ED Volume: 39,000 ED
Beds: 22 8 fast track ED Admission Rate: 20% EMR: Epic (Fall 2023)
24/7 PCI coverage Dedicated ED ultrasound machine Qualifications:
BC/BE ABEM physicians 302 beds with specialties represented in
Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Urology Benefits This

heart of the northeast Ohio industrial and technology corridor is
minutes from cities, interstate highways and two large state
universities - perfect commuting distance to greater Cleveland,
Akron, Youngstown and surrounding communities. Ravenna offers a
variety of parks and recreational activities, with three main parks
located in the city - Havre's Woods, John Tontimonia and Chestnut
Hills. Shelters at each of the parks are available for gathering.
There is also a trail head for the hike and bike trail which
connects Ravenna to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
