Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Lower Burrell, PA working the afternoon shift Monday from 3:30pm-10:15pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm-10:15pm or 2pm-9pm and Sundays from 7:45am-3:45pm. We do offer shift differentials. $17.00/hour plus paid training. The Residential Staff members provide direct care to the residents by assisting with activities of daily living, assisting personal hygiene as needed, socialization, meal preparation, teaching independence throgh daily living skills such as laundry, maintaining their home, shopping and community integration based on the individual's area of interest. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver's License. Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis in a residential setting. TB/Physical Must successfully complete a mandatory on-line ODP orientation program and DHS Medication Administration training.
